“Gabriella has been our daughter, Hannah’s, singing teacher for the last couple of years. Hannah is autistic and only started talking about a year before meeting Gabriella. Although she enjoyed the lessons from day one, she took a long time to start joining in. Through lockdown we got to see how wonderful, kind and patient Gabriella has been and to see Hannah’s fantastic progress. She loves singing and music and Gabriella has given her that gift. During the lockdowns, when schools were closed, I continued to teach online. I empathised with how hard it was to remain motivated, so I arranged a concert via zoom for my students, as a performance opportunity, giving them a goal to work towards and the chance to be inspired by their peers!
